Pre Matric Scholarship Complete List 2024-2025

The Pre-Matric Scholarship is categorised into two category i.e Central Funded & State Funded. Centrally-funded Pre Matric Scholarship is applicable for all students of country who are studying in Class 1st -10th. But State-funded Scholarship is only applicable for that respective state’s students. State Government who provide Pre Matric Scholarship are Nagaland, Uttar Pradesh, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Tripura, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Assam, Delhi. • Pre Matric Scholarships Scheme For Minorities

Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India provide Pre Matric Scholarships Scheme For Minorities to All India Students who are belonging to Minority communities such as Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains and Parsis category and studying in class 1 to 10 having at least 50% marks in previous qualifying examination can apply for scholarship. Student’s Family Income must be less than Rs. 1 Lakh to apply for scholarship.

Pre Matric Scholarships Scheme For Minorities Online Application Form are available in August and October. All eligible students have to apply for scholarship through National Scholarship Portal (NSP). Selected Students get Admission fee of Rs. 500 per annum and Rs. 350 for tuition fee to students of class 6 to 10. And also get Maintenance allowance of Rs. 100 per month to students of class 1-5. Maintenance allowance of Rs. 600 is given to hosteller students of class 6 to 10 and Rs. 100 to Day-Scholars Students.

• Pre Matric Scholarship for Students With Disabilities

Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disability, Government of India provide Scholarship to All India Eligible students for Pre Matric Scholarship for Students With Disabilities. Students with disabilities who are studying in class 9 or 10 having level of disability 40% or more with family annual income not more than Rs. 2.50 per year can apply for this scholarship from National Scholarship Portal. Students can apply online for Pre Matric Scholarship for Students With Disabilities between August and October. Selected students get following scholarship amount for Pre Matric Scholarship for Students With Disabilities.

1. Maintenance allowance of Rs. 800 per month for hostellers.
2. Maintenance allowance of Rs. 500 per month for day scholars.
3. Book grant of Rs. 1000 per annum.
4. Disability allowance of up to Rs. 4000 per annum.

• Financial Assistance For Education of The Wards of Beedi /Cine /IOMC /LSDM Workers – Pre Matric Scholarship

Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India provide scholarship to All India Students individuals who work as a Beedi worker, Iron Ore Manganese & Chrome Ore Mines (IOMC) worker, Cine worker, LSDM (Limestone & Dolomite Mines) from at least six months. Students who are studying in class 1 to 10 at a government recognised school with monthly family income not more than Rs. 10,000 can apply online through National Scholarship Portal. Pre Matric Scholarship Application Form available in August and October.

All selected students for scholarship get Rs. 250 to students of class 1 to 5 for purchasing dress/books etc. Rs. 940 to girl students of class 5 to 8 and Rs. 500 to boy students of class 5 to 8. Rs. 1140 & Rs. 700 to girls & boys respectively of class 9. And Rs.  1840 & Rs. 1400 to girls & boys respectively of class 10.

• Pre-Matric Scholarship for SC Students (Class 9 & 10), Delhi

Department for the Welfare of SC/ST/OBC, Government of NCT of Delhi provide Pre-Matric Scholarship for SC Students Class 9 & 10. Students who belonging to SC Category from Delhi, studying in class 9 or 10 at a recognised school having family annual income not more than Rs. 2.5 Lakh per year can apply for this scholarship.

All the students who wants to fill Scholarship Application Form have to visit to E-district portal of Government of Delhi. Online Application Form is available between December & February. Selected day scholars students of Class 9 & 10 will get Rs. 225 per month. And hostellers students will get Rs. 750 per month. For special situation day scholars and hostellers will receive Rs. 525 & Rs. 1000 per annum respectively.

• Pre-Matric Scholarship for OBC Students, Delhi

Department for the Welfare of SC/ST/OBC, Government of NCT of Delhi provide Pre-Matric Scholarship for OBC Students of Delhi. Only students who are domiciled in Delhi and belonging to OBC category, studying in class 1 to 10 at a recognised school having at least 60% minimum attendance in the previous year. The family annual income should not more than Rs. 2.5 Lakh to apply for scholarship.

Students can apply for scholarship through E-district portal of Government of Delhi between December & February. All selected students will get award of Rs. 100 per month to Day-scholar students of class 1 to 10 & Rs. 500 per month to Hosteller students of class 3 to 10. For any special situation, students will get Rs. 500 per annum.

• Pre-Matric Scholarship For ST Students (Class 9 & 10), Assam

Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India provide Pre-Matric Scholarship For ST Students to eligible students of Assam studying in Class 9 & 10 at any government recognised school having family annual income less than Rs. 2 Lakh per annum belonging to ST category can apply for Pre Matric Scholarship Assam. Applicants have to apply for scholarship online through National Scholarship Portal (NSP) between November & January.

All selected students for Pre Matric Scholarship For ST Students Assam get award of Rs. 150 per month & Rs. 350 per month to Day-scholar students & hostellers respectively. Additional allowance of up to Rs. 240 per month given to students with disabilities. Students will get Rs. 750 per annum (Day-scholar students) & Rs. 1000 per annum (hostellers) for any special situation.

• Pre-Matric Scholarship for ST Students (Class 1 to 8), Assam

Department of Welfare of Plains Tribes & Backward Classes, Government of Assam provide scholarship for financial help to students who are belonging to ST category of Assam. Students who are studying in Class 1-8 at any government recognised school having family annual income less than Rs. 50000 are eligible to apply online through National Scholarship Portal between November & January. Students will get scholarship of Rs. 100 per month for 12 Months.

• Pre-Matric Scholarship for OBC Students, Assam

Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India provide scholarship of Rs. 100 per month to Day-scholar students of class 1 to 10. Hostellers of class 3 to 10 will get Rs. 500 per month as scholarship amount. Students also win scholarship of Rs. 500 per annum for special situation. Pre Matric Scholarship For OBC is only applicable for students who are belonging to OBC category of Assam studying in Class 1 to 10 having at least 60% attendance in previous class. Students whose family annual income is less than Rs. 2.5 can apply online through NSP between December to January.

• Pre Matric Scholarship For SC Students (Class 9 and 10), Assam

Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment provide Pre Matric Scholarship For SC Students who belongs to Scheduled Caste, resident of Assam and studying in 9 & 10 Class to decrease school dropout rate at Pre Matric Level. Scholarship will given to only eligible and needy students. Applicants’ parents annual income is not more than Rs. 2.5 Lakh.

Students can apply online through National Scholarship Portal between November & January. All selected students will get a scholarship of Rs. 225 per month (Day Scholars) and Rs. 525 per month (Hostellers). Government also provide Rs. 750 per annum (Day Scholars) and Rs. 1000 per annum (Hostellers) for special situations. Students with disabilities also get an additional allowance of up to Rs. 240 per month.
